twenty one legal candles

Upon turning twenty one.

I have learned that not everyone will share the same view as you on birthdays, and it is wrong to expect others to be as enthusiastic about it but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying and celebrating it the you want too.

I have learned that there is no such thing as being too grateful, and if i could, i would remind aida, hamdi, fatin and mukhlis how thankful i am for running the show every time i think of the sixth.

I have learned that no matter what, my family will always be there with me when the clock strikes midnight.

I have learned that the closest ones to you will not always wish you happiness on the day or make it to your night, but that doesn't mean they forgot and it also doesn't mean that they don't wish they could.

I have learned that every gift received, reflects on what the givers think of you. interesting.

I have learned that unlike other birthdays, there is a difference when turning twenty one. all the privileges. possibilities. legality and celebrating another birthday not only means you're older it also comes with the burden of having to act that age with a more sense of maturity.

I have learned that I hate the pre-birthday days and hopefully I will be better at handling my emotions next year.
