I am sure there are plenty, but I have never stumbled upon philosophical works such as Ayn Rand's in the form of novels and playwrights and I think her 'Anthem' written back in the thirties is just amazing. The transition of time and 'I' and how she named every sociology institution so accurately made me wonder of how 'collectivism' and the strive for individualism and liberty had been an issue even back in those days.
Of course, I knew theorist like Emile Durkheim and Talcott Parson were from the early nineties but i had only read of their works in textbooks and other educational materials, I somehow always just understood their works as 'theories' of life.
If anyone knows of any other sociological founders who have also written novels of their philosophy, please let me know.
Also, the style of writing I thought was very refreshing and present-day like that I had a hard time believing it was written back in the thirties. So, if you know of any books that have the same style of writing, please let me know..
