bon voyage

today's the day.
i get to say so long, this ship has sailed.
to singledom, total freedom.
to those who know,to those who are bright eyed, to those who know off us, to you..
don't swim after me please. i'll easily throw the anchor down,i have too many times before.
you wrecked my ship.
soon, my fellow sailors will get tired of mending me, and without their navigation i'll be lost.
without their strength, your current will keep pulling me in.
today, you get to see me depart.
you get to see me breathe the ocean breeze, and wonder how could i be calm to leave you behind.
you get to see me high on my already mended ship, and feel small on the ground.
you get to see me sail away into the distance, and feel helpless when you lose sight of me over the horizon.
you get to see me, from where i stood.

i'm terrified and excited, all of this seem too familiar, but never from a telescope.
the waves, the thunder, the sun, the marine habitat. all of it needs getting used to.
the motion sickness. oooh the motion sickness.
but with the company of great sailors on board, i'm hopeful for a new exciting venture.
