the more the merrier

Early this year, the girls and I decided to have board game nights instead of the the usual movie marathons
and so far, we've only played three board games

Cranium Desperate Housewives Big Brain

and I enjoy Cranium the most![Thanks to Tania!] I think everyone does, no matter what board game we start off with, we always end up playing Cranium. The Club Cranium Card starts getting annoying though after awhile and since Star performer and Creative Cat are the easiest, every team tends to pick those to win themselves to the express lane, so we're starting to run out of 'un-played' cards.

Desperate Housewives, only play it if you know the tv series well. Unfortunate for us, only Fatin [the owner of the board game] follows the tv series. We continued playing though because the random guessing and so-obvious-clue give outs were ridiculously funny. Big Brain has University Games stamped at the top of the box! Even if its just the company, I would have already been put off by the sight of it. Anyways, Hamdi picked that out because he thought it would be 'educational' for us.[I think its the same Big Brain as Wii and the Facebook application]. It turned out to be not that bad, like Cranium, Big Brain too is divided into four categories, but nothing expressing your creative side. the exciting part is collecting and weighing your chips at the end of every round.

Looking forward to more board game nights and hopefully we'll get 'smart ass' soon. Smart ass's box is yellow with a goofy donkey on it! =D and has been awarded the Australian Game of the year 2006.
Hopefully i'll handle the excessive provoking better this time.
